Joe is originally from Chicago and has worked in radio since 1989. After career stops including Illinois, Wisconsin, and Boston…Joe couldn’t be happier to call San Antonio and 106.7 The Eagle his new home. Despite his Chicago roots, Joe has been a Dallas Cowboys fan since he was a kid in the 70s…having grown up idolizing the likes of Tony Dorsett, Ed “Too Tall” Jones, and Roger Staubach. While working in radio in Wisconsin, he also spent nineteen seasons as the public address announcer for the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau field. And yes…he was there when Dez caught the ball.
Family is everything to Joe. He’d rather be hanging out at a ball game or enjoying a day at the beach with his wife and kids more than anything in the world. His favorite pastimes include spectator sports of all kinds…both pro and college. He’s a musician (drums and vocals) who loves jamming with local bands on the weekends. He enjoys being a homeowner and working on DIY projects around the house. And when he just wants to get away for a few hours, you can usually find him on a local golf course.
Joe loves to fire up the grill on the weekend…and makes an amazing homemade pizza from scratch that simply cannot be duplicated. His favorite foods are BBQ, Tex-Mex, and anything that originates in Chicago.
He also lends his support to various charitable causes including domestic abuse shelter programs and mental health care awareness & treatment.
