After much anticipation...AC/DC finally launched their first North American tour in almost ten years. Night two of the tour took place at AT&T Stadium and was their only Texas date.
In case you missed it...Saturday Night Live turns 50 this year. I was finally able to sit down and watch the three-plus hour anniversary special (which you can find on the Peacock app)...and as a lifelong fan, can honestly say that I thought it was just good...not great. There were however some great moments....
Just when we were starting to get excited about the Spurs again with the major addition of De’Aaron Fox...today we get a total gut-punch with the news that they are shutting Wembanyama down for the rest of the year due to a blood clot in his shoulder that was discovered upon his return from All-Star-Weekend. Wemby said he had been experiencing symptoms for a few days...but hoped that it would resolve itself with rest following the All-Star Game. The Spurs have said that they will provide updates on his condition when appropriate...but made it clear that he will sit for the remainder of the season.
There is nothing quite like playoff football. You win...you keep playing. You lose...you’re out. One and done. Period. Full stop. No best-of-five or best-of-seven. There’s an urgency to a one-game-do-or-die scenario. It’s like every game is a game is a game seven. With that said...strap in and get ready for one of the best football weekends of the year....starting with the two NCAA games.
