The anticipation before a “game one” is always the best. So much hope. So much promise. Visions of a championship parade in our town! So...as a rabid sports fan who tends to take things...how should I say this...a bit too fanatically...I always look for that one special “something” that is gonna help take my team all the way.

So for the 2026 Spurs playoff run...which officially begins during this first weekend of Fiesta...I decided to go the lucky shirt route. You see...I discovered that the Spurs actually were selling a limited edition Spurs Fiesta shirt in the pro shop. Combine that with my love for crazy patterns and funky colors...and I decided that we had a winner!

So here I am...pictured in my lucky shirt...grilling some stadium food in the back yard...and getting ready for game one against Portland. I will continue to wear said shirt on every day of a playopff game. And at 5PM on every afternoon following a Spurs win...I will celebrate with an on-air tribute to our beloved...if not slightly insane...superfans...The Jackyls!
